“Advertising is like sprinting. You have 30 or 60 seconds to tell a story and make the same kind of emotional connection that a filmmaker builds over two hours. When you do make that connection with a patient, you know you've done something more important than sell Ginsu knives, you've set that person on a path that could change his or her life.”

MYKEL D. LEFKOWITZ

DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS

Mykel D. Lefkowitz works with JMAC Partner clients to ensure that the programs we implement meet or exceed their needs for our clients. He explores new avenues to resolve the inherent challenges faced by study teams, sites and subjects on a daily basis. He brings over 20 years of marketing and strategy experience to JMAC partners, including the past ten years in the clinical trial patient recruitment industry. During Mykel’s director level tenure at a pioneering patient recruitment firm, he accumulated vast amounts of knowledge and applied that information to define and refine programs and services which are now commonplace within our industry. Mykel received his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and his BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.

“My true understanding of the industry, my 'aha moment,' came after I entered a clinical trial as a healthy subject. It was eye opening and made me realize the commitment that is required, not just from the researcher and site perspective, but the patient's as well. Being poked and prodded, led through a battery of questions and paperwork made me realize how important it is to continually improve the interactions with our subjects and prepare them for compliance from day one of enrollment.”
